3D WORK & DIGITAL FX

The 3D/Digital FX needs of AotD were immense—props, sets, weather & nature FX. I was up to the challenge and took my 3D knowledge to a new level. I built entire kits worth of plates for the comp team to use throughout their shots depending on the need. I modeled from scratch and utilized Arnold’s (engine) toon shader to mimic a Mœbius style for massive 3D sets like The Falconback Project. With Embergen or Trapcode Particular I designed systems for molten metal rain, or gentle candles, or the hellacious flames of a ghosthorse. I even built the eponymous Doomstar itself using Element 3D and several iterations of glows and procedural noise. See below for a ton of examples of my 3D & Digi-FX work!
