For Dethklok’s new tour in 2024-2025 I was tasked with creating a brand new visual piece for the song Mutilation on a Saturday Night. Using the show’s archival Flash assets from studio Titmouse, I was able to dive in and create some new scenes with my 3D work where Dethklok is just kinda hanging out! On this project I used a ton of Embergen (my favorite piece of software as of late) in combo with fun displacement maps and some kinetic typography. I don’t normally edit an entire project in AE but this one was — with a master comp 200+ layers deep.
