TV & FILM
(PILOTS & PITCH DECKS)

Though a lot of my work was for the digital or branded department, I would often get called on to do visual effects and graphics for television and film production, and often in the realm of pilots and pitch decks. What you see below is a grab-bag of stuff I worked on — and not everything saw the light of day.

HIGH SCIENCE PILOT

One of my favorite projects at FoD, the pilot for High Science (actual series now streaming on MAX), I did a ton of 3D animations as well as an animated ‘Dr. Oh’ face on the sentient bong-computer. Anyway— It’s whaley good!

2019 ROSE PARADE WITH CORD AND TISH

I worked on the graphics package for THE Cord and Tish’s 2019 Rose Parade which included the title card and assorted transitions and chyron templates.

AGUA DONKEYS

Quibi’s Agua Donkeys (now on Roku) had one VFX shot and it was the very last shot of the season finale—and a big one. The leads jumped off the roof of a three story motel into a pool and I was brought onboard to comp them together. See the finished product (before grade) below along with the original plates.

BROCKMIRE S4

I did all the chyrons for Brockmire S4.

UNUSED DESIGN -
FOMO (A QUIBI SHOW)

I went through a ton of iterations on a graphics and title package for a Quibi show called Fomo that never went anywhere but boy I sure did spend about three weeks working on it. Hey whatever happened to Quibi? :(

UNUSED DESIGN - IMPRACTICAL JOKERS MOVIE

I submitted these three cards as design styleframes to use as location cards for Impractical Jokers Movie but I never heard back from the production team. I am assuming this is one of their classic Impractical Jokes and they’re playing the really long game. Anyway I always loved these designs and I used my home state of Maryland as the example.

UNNAMED PITCH DECK

The Photoshops below I made are from a great pitch deck I helped build that I’ll leave unnamed but I think these images (I redesigned actual erotica books into elaborate new covers) speak for themselves and deserve the light of day. Hey … you’re welcome.
